Riverwatch is a compelling read, fast to grab the reader's attention and difficult to put down. Comparable to the writings of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, Nassie tells a chilling story of an ancient evil freed from an entombment meant to entrap the ritualistic creature for eternity.

Gabriel is a man much older than his apparent years. He knows that an ancient evil has been freed. He knows he is far too old to defend the world from the unspeakable horrors about to be unleashed. Sam, Jake and Katelynn are friends that will find themselves caught in the middle of a supernatural phenomenon that started back when Gabriel was young and able
to battle the enemy known as the Nightshade.

When gruesome homicides rip through town, Damon, the police chief, is far from having answers. Teaming up with the three friends, this foursome hopes to stop an ungodly beast before it viciously slaughters another victim.

Intense and hard-hitting. Riverwatch is the type of horror novel that is compiled of precise amounts of suspense and gore, producing some truly frightening scenes. Riverwatch may be Nassie's first novel, but I hope it is not his last; he is the kind of talented writer that can shine in a tight-knit genre of select writers.
