Without a Trace

Young women are disappearing in a small Indiana town. Drew Kane is a jail
officer in that town, with the help of his mentor, Detective Rex Thomas,
they search for the girls, but find the truth is more terrifying than
anything they could have imagined

About the author

Tim Miller has worked in law enforcement and corrections for the last three
years. A native of Indiana, he served four years in the U.S. Marines. He
lives in Elkhart Indiana with his wife and daughter

When did you first start writing?

Ever since Jr. High School, though I started writing seriously in 1998 when
I started submitting short stories to magazines

Why do you write?

I have a lot of stories in my head and I enjoy seeing my characters coming
to life.

What sort of books do you like to read?

Mysterys and Thrillers and some military non fiction

Who is your favourite author or who has influenced your writing?

Jame Patterson, Jeffery Deaver and John Sandford are my biggest influences
in that order.

If you could meet any character from a book, who would it be and why?

Lucas Davenport from John Sandford's Prey Series.

What are you currently working on?

A book about two professional Killers in a small town hired to kill several
family members and associates of a wealthy CEO as an apparent means of
maniuplating the company.

What have you found to be the best method of promoting your books?

Book signings and any other public appearance I can muster. Newspaper
interviews have done fairly well also, but nothing takes the place of
personal appearances.

And finally, what advice would you give to writers just starting out?

Don't ever give up. As long as you're writing, your successful.
